Ria began her journey in filmmaking with a passion for storytelling and visual art, earning a degree in Film & Television from Boston University. At BU, she studied directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and producing, gaining experience on over 50 short film sets and directing 10 of her own. Her senior thesis, What Makes Us Girls, was selected for BU’s highest level capstone course out of 70+ scripts. Ria has also worked as a videographer for BU hockey, Strike Magazine, and was the creative director of several music videos. She values the collaborative nature of film and is driven by creativity and the power of storytelling.
